I was eating breakfast and all of a sudden this little baby bird flew into the kitchen! I didn't want to catch it straight away because I was hoping it would find its own way back out, so in the meantime I took a few photos. After quite a while it started flapping a lot at the window, and not going anywhere near the door, so I gently scooped it up in my hands and brought it outside. It just sat in my hands as I took it to the grass, waited a second and realised it was free to go, and flew happily onto a branch.
aha - little spuggy - they're actually not as scared of us as we think - although i usually put it down to the fact that they know i'm vegan and won't hurt them
Adorable! I admire you for having your camera at the ready. That is the reason why I'll never be the kind of photographer I'd like to be... I never have my camera handy!! Duh. Anyway. Thanks for sharing the story that went along with your capture. I always enjoy a photo that much more when I get to hear the tale behind the exposure.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
